This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and NorseHorse ("Licensor") for use of the StillHold mobile application ("Application"). By downloading, installing, or using StillHold, you agree to be bound by this EULA.
NorseHorse grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the StillHold application on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
This license does not allow you to use the Application on any device that you do not own or control. You may not distribute or make the Application available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Application. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application.
StillHold allows users to post opinions and reckoning responses. By using StillHold, you agree to the following:
StillHold maintains a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Content that violates our Terms of Service — including harassment, threats of violence, doxxing, hate speech targeting protected characteristics, CSAM, and illegal content — will be removed and the responsible account will face enforcement action up to and including permanent ban.
You acknowledge and agree that opinions posted on StillHold are permanent by design. Posts cannot be deleted by users — they can only be revisited through the reckoning process (Still, Evolved, or Recanted). The only circumstances under which posted content is removed are: moderation enforcement for Terms violations, full account deletion (which removes all personal content after a 30-day waiting period), or valid legal process.
All posts and reckoning explanations are subject to automated AI moderation and human review. Content that violates the Terms of Service will be blocked or removed. Users may report objectionable content, and NorseHorse commits to reviewing all reports within 24 hours.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent that your content does not violate any applicable law or third-party right. You grant NorseHorse a license to display your content as part of the Service.
StillHold provides mechanisms to report objectionable content and block abusive users. These features are accessible on every post, reckoning, and profile. Reports are triaged by AI and reviewed by human moderators.
If your content is filtered or your account is suspended, you may appeal the decision. Appeals are reviewed within 72 hours. The appeals process is available in-app and at stillhold.app/appeals.
Your use of StillHold is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. StillHold uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) for content moderation — only post text is sent to the AI, with no personal identifying information.
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. NorseHorse may terminate your access to StillHold at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application.
You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account and removing the Application from your devices.
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NORSEHORSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
This EULA is between you and NorseHorse only, not with Apple. NorseHorse, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Application and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Application. In the event of any failure of the Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Application.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Application or your possession and use of the Application, including product liability claims, any claim that the Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
In the event of any third-party claim that the Application or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, NorseHorse, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
This EULA shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States.
