Effective: April 17, 2026
StillHold is built on a simple idea: your opinions are permanent, but your mind isn't. These guidelines exist to protect that space.
We moderate behavior, not beliefs. Controversial, unpopular, and uncomfortable opinions are explicitly welcome on StillHold. The entire point is to put your views on record and revisit them honestly. We will never remove content simply because it's provocative, disagreeable, or politically charged.
What we do not tolerate is content that directly harms individuals or that no reasonable platform should host.
Violations are handled through escalating enforcement: warning, 24-hour suspension, 7-day suspension, permanent ban. Severe violations (doxxing, CSAM, credible violence threats) result in immediate permanent ban.
All enforcement actions can be appealed. We commit to reviewing appeals within 72 hours.
Every post, reckoning, and profile has a report button. Use it. We review all reports within 24 hours. If you're not sure whether something violates the guidelines, report it anyway — we'd rather review something that turns out to be fine than miss something that isn't.
The tonal line at StillHold: hard on intellectual dishonesty, soft on intellectual humans. The villain is the memory-holer — the person who pretends they never held the old view. The hero is the person who stands by their takes or admits they were wrong. Our guidelines protect the space where that honesty can happen.
